My tuition has been deeply impacted by the Covid-19 crisis. See the current situation here:
Daniel's Another Ten Top Tips photography talk follows on nicely from Daniel's Ten Top Tips, with advice on clothing, symmetry, monochrome photography, and lots more. The talk is again ideal for any camera club, as well as WI's and U3A groups, for people of any ability, but it's best to have the Ten Top Tips talk first.
Expanding on the Ten Top Tips talk, this talk looks at suitable clothing, compositional ideas, the use of monochrome, appropriate sharpness, and lots more.
This is an interactive talk, I encourage questions and comments, which works well at camera clubs as it sparks discussion, rather than simply being a slideshow.
Ideal for camera clubs, nature groups, WI and U3A groups, this talk has the aim to improve the audience's knowledge and enjoyment of photography.
A talk costs £60, plus travelling expenses at 45p/mile.
Just get in touch through my contact page, it's probably best by email as you can easily let me know dates you have available. Feel free to give me a ring instead though, and we can chat through which talk would be best for you if you haven't yet decided.
Pretty much anyone, although some are maybe better suited to Camera Clubs rather than the average WI meeting. However, that's maybe doing 'non-photographers' a disservice, as my Ten Top Tips talk went down a storm at a local U3A group recently.
I bring a laptop, projector, and extension lead. and can bring a screen too if required, so the only thing I really need is a table or projector stand. If you have a screen I could use, that just makes it a little easier for me.
I give talks to all sorts of organisations; Camera Clubs, Local Wildlife Groups, U3A Groups, anywhere that wants an interesting and effective talk really.
I mainly cover Essex, but have taken bookings from Kent, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, London, Norfolk, Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, and the West Midlands. I haven't been to Sussex with a talk yet. That should be my next county I think...
I normally keep going until everyone's asleep, then creep out very quietly...
However, if you require a specific length, it's normally somewhere between 1 ½ to 2 hours, so they fit nicely with a Camera Club meeting, and I can adjust the talk to accommodate your particular meeting times.
Send us your questions and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Great Camera Club Speaker, Witty and Informative
"Daniel delivered a great talk, amusing and informative, with plenty of audience participation. Felt inspired to get out with my camera again, as did other club members, so much so, at half time I was asked to rebook him for next season. Thank you, look forward to the next talk!"
